Pecha Kucha is intended to gather creative individuals to share their work and ideas in a night, chilling-out, getting together and exchanging thoughts in an informal environment. Pecha Kucha welcomes creative minds from the fields of Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Fashion Design, Animation and Design in general. We also invite students who are looking for a job and want to promote their skills. Pecha Kucha represents a new expression venue for people in the creative world.

Creative Gong joins the planning committee for the “Hablando de la Salud de la Mujer” conference sponsored by the Laura Bush Foundation and Texas Tech, which will take place October 2008.
All Hablando de la Salud de la Mujer events are presented in both Spanish and English, and include a lineup of keynotes, breakout sessions and health screenings

We are pleased to announce that Creative Gong was honored with not only one but two ADDYS® Awards this past March 8th, 2008. The ADDYS® are hosted by the American Advertising Federation, where El Paso belongs to Chapter 12.
The ADDY® Awards are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, where creative excellence within the art of advertising is recognized and rewarded.
Creative Gong received awards in the Logo Design category for our clients, Jazz El Paso Connection and Funtastico Party Hall. Kudos go out to our President for designing the award-winning logos.

Creative Gong’s own Sandra “La Gongy” Salas, was invited to participate as a moderator for the Creative Services Panel at the El Paso Advertising Federation’s AdZen: Reaching into the Zenith of Advertising annual student conference.
Creative Gong designed website, www.jazzelpaso.org, was awarded BizTech’s Best Website Award by the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
